We are approaching our goal of 100 athletes.  As of today, we have 75 athletes who have completed their team application, paid their deposit, and obtained their USSA license.  If you have any questions or concerns regarding membership please contact Colette Smith.

Dryland

We continue to have great attendance at dryland training.  As the weather starts to cool off, remember to dress for the conditions.  Everyone has been bringing their water bottles and keeping the park clean.  Keep up the good work.

Report from our UEA ski camp at Mt. Hood

After speaking with the athletes, everyone had a great time.  They had good snow and were able to test their new equipment, team work with Park City athletes, perform video analysis, and some physical conditioning.  Special thanks to Tyler Callantine for his coaching during this camp.

Special Report

Also over UEA weekend our unofficial mountain bike tam competed in the 24 hours of Moab bike race.  Congratulations to Zane Enders and Josh Elston for the 2nd place team result. Special thanks to Mark Enders for coordinating this program this summer.

Ryan Bexell

Ryan is now home with his family.  Thanks for the tremendous support that everyone has provided to Ryan and his family during this tough time.  We will be hosting the golf tournament at Mt. Ogden on Saturday, October 21 to raise funds to assist with medical bills.  We will start at 9:00.  Tell your friends, we could use more golfers.

Upcoming events to keep in mind

- Wolf Mountain Festival.  Check out the attached flyer.  This looks like a good time.  We will be training at Wolf Mountain this season.  If you have not had a chance to see the recent improvements, take a drive and visit Wolf Mountain and the beautiful Ogden Valley.

- Warren Miller movie on October 21 in Ogden.

- Snowdance on November 18th at Snowbasin.

- Parent Meeting in November.  More information to come out soon.
