Our upcoming "Ski with the Team" day is this Saturday March 10th.  If you have any interested racers that are not currently members of the team, we invite them to come join the team for a day.  If you also have any friends that have potential racers, please pass this information along to them as well.  We will need a confirmation of those interested in attending so we may staff accordingly. 

1.  Spring "ski with the team' day, held this Saturday March 10th.

2.  Written evaluation from ski school program

3.  Fall evaluation day, held the 1st Saturday in December.

4.  Coaches recommendation.

All racers must posses a certain basic level in skiing:  They need to be able to put on/take off their own skis, load the chairlifts by themselves, and ski in control on the blue runs at Snowbasin.

This Saturday's agenda:

Meet at the Training Center (old Snowbasin lodge) at 8:15 to fill out paperwork and meet the coach. After the meeting with the coach, parents need to move their cars down to the main parking lot.

Have their lift pass already purchased.

Be ready to ski by 8:45

8:45 warm-up with the coach

9:00-11:30 ski with the team.

Break for lunch at 11:30 (they may have a sack lunch in the training center or they may ski down to the lodge to eat with you)

12:30-3:00 ski with the team  (if they met you for lunch, make sure they are back up to the training center by 12:30, allow loading time on little cat)

At 3:00 meet back at the training center for the evaluation report from the coach.  The parking lot will be open at that time so you may drive back up to pick up your skier.

All skiers are required to wear helmets and use ski poles as well.

So again, we encourage any interested racer to attend this Saturday.  We look forward to meeting you then!
